Capturing an Event on film - Als Pals Gala Ball

Jo from Whoosh was pleased to gift her services for the fabulous local charity Als Pals, based in Milton Keynes. The brief was to capture all the different elements of the evening, from arrival, to the photos being taken, to the guest singer, speeches and people enjoying the band at the end of the night. The client also wanted a sense of 'fomo' - fear of missing out! So the testimonials at the end of the video help get that across. A very enjoyable nights work!

Social media stories - Building a Travel Brand

Whoosh was pleased to work with Black Prince Narrowboat Holidays on their social media campaign. Aimed at their target audience of males over 50 who demanding jobs and wanted to escape to something relaxing on their holidays, this slow paced video got great engagement, driving website visits.

Lights, Camera, Action: Filming a School Story in Milton Keynes

Watling Academy in Milton Keynes asked Whoosh to produce a short marketing video to show to prospective sixth formers. This video shoot included drone footage to capture the grounds where the new sixth form block would be built. We then 3-D animated the building structure and overlaid it to the drone video to showcase the great looking buildings to be built in 2025. Whoosh also wrote the voice over, working with the client to highlight the important selling points of the new sixth form. A great project!

Cheshire’s Best by Narrowboat: Crafting Black Prince’s Promo Video

We combined fresh footage shot by Whoosh with handpicked stock footage to create a short promotional film for Black Prince Narrowboat Holidays to use on their website. The aim was to show off the very best of Cheshire, from its beautiful canals and countryside to its top attractions. The brief was all about highlighting what makes this region such a fantastic place to visit, especially for a narrowboating adventure.

Polar Speed in Leighton Buzzard required a short corporate film to showcase their warehouse capabilities to potential new partners. The brief was for clean, factual shots to highlight the space, the team, the equipmemt and the detail of how they pick and pack for distribution, including small more delicate items.

Working with the very talented Carismatico Tango band to create a showcase music video for their staged concerts and dance showcases.

Discover Black Prince Holidays: Social Media Branding Video | Whoosh Creative

A docu-ad short film, concept by Whoosh Creative, with the storyboard, shooting, and editing all done aboard a Black Prince boat! Designed for social media, this video targets men aged 40+ to introduce them to a unique UK holiday experience, driving brand awareness for Black Prince Holidays.

Fantasy Children's Maps: A B2B Film Advert for Retail Stores

A business to business film advert to sell fantasy children's maps into retail stores. It includes the business owner Dan explaining the product together with product shots and also video of the end user enjoying the product. Together with strong calls to action at the end of the film, this makes a strong piece of high quality selling collateral to showcase a great product.

48 Hour film festival challenge

As part of the Leighton Buzzard Film Festival which took place in September 2023, Jo from Whoosh Creative took part in the 48 Hour Film Festival and won Best Film for 'What Remains.' The short film was shot and edited in 48 hours and had to include three prompts: the line 'the objects here have memories', an eerie shop and translucent gel! A great challenge!

COMMUNITY WORK: Robin Hood - Ye Olde Zoome Panto

Jo from Whoosh was delighted to have produced, filmed and edited this innovative green screen online pantomime filmed with the award-winning Leighton Buzzard Drama Group in December 2020 in Bedfordshire.
