How It Works

This Right To Manage development had clear lease conditions designed to protect residents, the building, and its long-term value.
However, the management team were facing a serious and ongoing issue: many leaseholders and tenants did not fully understand the rules of the development.
A key problem was short-letting, with apartments being rented for fewer than 90 days — something explicitly prohibited within the lease terms.
This led to several risks:
Crucially, much of this behaviour stemmed from poor communication, not deliberate misuse. The rules existed — but they weren’t being absorbed, understood, or engaged with.
