FILM OUTLINE
I am pleased to introduce the latest project from the Leighton Buzzard Film Club, "The Bank Job.”
The film follows the Robinson siblings—Amanda, Mike, Philip, and June—as they embark on an daring plan to rob a bank. The film opens with a seemingly serious family meeting, where Amanda , confronts Philip about a mishap involving her paper model of their local high street which she was going to use to detail the plan. Amanda unveils the agenda: a meticulously planned bank heist. Each sibling plays a crucial role in this daring scheme, with Amanda as "The Queen" leading the charge, Mike as "The Bishop" on lookout, Philip as "The Castle" providing muscle, and June as "The Knight" driving the getaway vehicle. The plot thickens as the siblings rehearse their plan, only to be thwarted by an unexpected twist.
AUDITIONS
As there are two film scripts written, we invite you to audition for the first film through self- taped submissions. If successful, you will be cast in the second film (details of that tbc). Information on how to submit is provided below.
The scripts for the self tapes have been specially written to give everyone an equal amount of dialogue. Some are based on the main script.
Join us as we bring this story to life, and help us make "The Bank Job" a memorable addition to the Leighton Buzzard Film Club. It will also be considered for Local Festivals and beyond. We look forward to your participation and creativity in this exciting endeavour.
